Refund Policy for School of Fishing Trips
At the Wet Fly Swing Podcast and the School of Fishing, we are committed to providing memorable and rewarding fly fishing experiences. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we have created a refund policy to address cancellations and changes in a fair and transparent manner.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation by the Client
- 90 Days or More Before Departure: Full refund minus a 3% administrative fee.
- 60–89 Days Before Departure: 50% refund of the total trip cost
- 30–59 Days Before Departure: 25% refund of the total trip cost.
- Less Than 30 Days Before Departure: No refund will be provided.
- Filling your spot (if applicable)
- If we are able to find a replacement client to fill your spot, in the event that you cancel, you will get your full refund regardless of the date.
- If we cannot find a replacement for your spot, in the event that you cancel, see #1 above.
- Cancellation by the Client
- Cancellation by The School of Fishing
- In the unlikely event that we must cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, guide availability, or safety concerns), you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to a later date at no additional cost.
Non-Refundable Items
Certain costs are non-refundable, including but not limited to:
- Flights or other travel arrangements booked separately by the client.
- Equipment rentals or other add-ons already used or procured.
Travel Insurance Recommendation
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations, delays, or emergencies.
Force Majeure Clause
Refunds may be adjusted or unavailable in cases of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or other events beyond our control.
Refund Process
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to dave@wetflyswing.com and will be processed within 30 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
